What computer skills do I need to Open New Store?
Very minimal. No programming is required. With our user-friendly system, you can construct and customize your e-store with keyboard and mouse clicks! 1. choose a template. 2. customize your store by uploading your own banner or images 3. entering product info and images 4. enter payment and shipping methods You are set for online business!
I have an existing online store, can I still join Meshopolis?
Certainly. Meshopolis is a great place to promote your products online. You will only get more web presence and exposure by opening another ‘branch’ store at Meshopolis!
I have an existing online store, can I use or transfer my existing Domain name?
Yes. You have the option of using your_store_name.meshopolis.com from our Basic or Premium packages, or using your_store_name.com from the Professional package. By using your own domain name, you will have to modify and point your DNS server entry to ours. Please email our support@meshopolis.com if you need any help in this area.
What payments methods are available to merchants?
Currently our system is integrated with Paypal payment processing. Once you have a Paypal merchant account, you can accept the most popular payment methods such as Visa, Master, American Express, Diners, etc from your customers. We are expanding and will make announcement in the future for any new payment gateway that we integrate into our system.
What shipping methods are available to merchants?
Currently our system is integrated with USPS and Canadapost, the two most popular shipping carriers in US and Canada. We will expand to include other popular carriers in the future.
What determines shipping charges?
Product weight + shipping destination + shipping method. Please be reminded to put weight on all products you list in your e-store. Without it, your shipping charge will not reflect what you will be charged from the couriers.
